Sometimes it's hard to balance work & family especially when your office is in your home. Constant interruptions are commonplace and pulling away to take care of the things that need attention in the home is a challenge.
Such as is life, my time is ever slipping through my fingers. I feel like I'm constantly fighting not to miss these priceless moments. Maybe setting better boundaries for work & family time are in order. I do "clock out" but that to has somewhat faded as my new business venture grows.
New experiences and an open mind are my favorite takeaways so far. As I push myself harder & further to build a future through a strong community, I find out new things about myself as well. Knowing what I love & being able to do it has been a blessing. Developing a community with those that share this passion is a privilege & outright challenging.
My family is far, an eight hour car ride away. But these ladies make me feel like sisters, family, friends. Embracing an attitude of gratitude is something I often am concise to do daily. These moments with good friends are often on top of my list. Being grateful for this time with the people in my life is so easy to do. So I hold these memories for those not-so-great days, when I need to get over whatever speed bump that's blocking my path.
